Motion GFX Apprentice

As our name suggests, TINY HERO is someone you want in your corner. We craft high end movie trailers, TV spots, and social content and more for some of the biggest studios, networks and brands in the world!

Are you passionate about design, animation, and entertainment? We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic entry level Motion Graphic Designer to join our apprenticeship program. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow alongside industry experts while contributing to high-profile projects that shape the landscape of entertainment marketing in Hollywood.

Our recent work includes blockbuster movies like A COMPLETE UNKNOWN, DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE, TWISTERS, INSIDE OUT 2, SALTBURN, and breakout streaming shows such as Amazon Prime's FALLOUT and BEAST GAMES, FX's SHOGUN, and Apple TV+'s YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS and TED LASSO.

Show us your work, and if you have natural talent, we’ll teach you to be the best and put you in the fast lane to becoming a professional Motion Designer on the Tiny Hero team.

You must provide samples of your graphic design (i.e links to your work) to be considered. All experience levels will be considered, but an emphasis on Motion Design is required.

Apprenticeship responsibilities:

• Shadow professional motion designers working on top-tier campaigns.
• Learn how to pitch concepts, develop looks, and properly manage branded content.
• Learn to create graphics for Trailers and TV promos, assist with finishing and delivery.
• Revise graphics based on notes and/or changing direction.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work on-site at our studio in Burbank, California.
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required Knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus.
• Have a reel or samples of work that demonstrate creative design.
• Ability to collaborate with others and take direction, notes, and critique in a professional manner.
• Strong passion and awareness for latest trends in the Film and TV marketing.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with high standards of quality.
• Willing and able to work occasional overtime hours as needed.

Experience:
Graphic Design: 2 years

Motion Design: 1 year (Preferred)

• Monday to Friday, 10AM-7PM
• Expect 2-10 hours of paid OT weekly
• Occasional weekend availability
